David has served as church organist/director in churches of many denominations. He especially enjoyed his six years of presiding over the new 89-rank Casavant of The Seventh-day Adventist Church at Kettering, Ohio in the early '70s while working on his doctorate in organ performance at Cincinnati. Concurrently, he was organist at the majestic reconstructed English mansion known as Normandy Church, also in the Dayton area.

At present, David serves in the Bay Area at Saratoga Presbyterian Church as Organist and Director of Music.
